I have the same problem in b40 on a Sun v1100z.. JDS 4 Gnome 14.x It will mount cd-rom's with data on them... open folder and all... but when I put a music cd in the drive I get the error: "Sound Juicer could not find any CD-ROM drives to read."
Arrrrrrg.... This is why I think JDS and gnusolaris should merge.. I will bet this is not an issues there...
