Dennis, thanks for your detailed response on my question, whether or not the 
open source version of cdrecord includes DVD support now.
Okay, I'm going to try it out and see myself ...

Aha, ok.
BTW, "smake" is already my default make in many cases.
Just as with the star.

This makes me happy, if you burn the iso I sent you.
Just a question: 80mm DVD???
Does something like that exist?
And it is then compatible with Solaris? Wow. How much data does it take?
