  ** WRONG **

  The software package at Blastwave ( built by you ) is built on Solaris 8
 such that we can rest assured that it runs as expected for users with
Solaris 8 and 9 and 10 and Nevada.  If the package does not run with
perfect backward compatibility in Solaris 9 or 10 or Nevada then the issue
is with Solaris and not with the software built on Solaris 8.

  This is a heavy handed way of saying that the software at Blastwave is for
Solaris users.  Regardless if they are on Solaris 8 or Solaris 9 or
Solaris 10 or whatever Sun is shipping, selling or supporting in regular
support schedule to Solaris customers.

  Now that I got that out of my system it would be nice if you could *pretty
please* update your own software in the CSW tree such that cdrecord and
star and smake were recent and running well on Solaris 8 as a base.
