Firefox and Mozilla and Seamonkey all use the exact same "Gecko" rendering 
engine from the Netscape days.

Which is exactly what I did; Except that Freetype2 support had to be disabled, 
and that I couldn't get Sun's JDS theme installed. Admittedly, I did not study 
how the whole Chrome thingy works... I was in a middle of something else and 
just wanted Mozilla to work.
