I don't know for the dv2000 but I have installed SXCR b54 on two HP dv6000 (Turion64 X2) which have an MCP51 NVIDIA chipset. There is a problem with the clock and interrupts seem to be lost. I had to use a work around (set apic_use_acpi to 0) in order to get them work.
