Hello, I recently migrated to opensolaris after using linux and freebsd for a
couple years. I am quickly falling in love with the system. My primary use
for THIS computer is desktop usage but i have a fileserver i'm considering
switching to solaris.

Because of how great i found Opensolaris to be i thought i'd give Solaris
Express Community Edition a try. One thing i really like is the option of
installing to mirrored zfs. Some other stuff seems slightly different from
opensolaris, and i need to know the proper way to "fix" it or set it up.

For instance, the install didn't allow me to create both a root user and an
"admin" user account like the opensolaris install does. I've been able to log
in as root and create a user but how do i convert the system to the "root" role
type system of opensolaris?

Also, how to i give my user account the ability to behave like it does in
opensolaris (when i type pfexec bash i don't get a root terminal, i can log in
with su but that is different)

Lastly, is it just me or do new users have an empty "path" profile? do you
edit this in the .profile file in the home directory?

Thanks for helping out a newb.
