What I guess what you meant is......committing shareholder money to technical investments without business strategy?...this is a solitary lesson..many great technical innovations fail smply because of no business expertise... Open source community should take note of this lesson...as technical innovation in itself is not good enough it must be match with professional business management leadership.Many Distros will fail because this lesson is not learnt.Should a community distro be formed business expertise (not opinion) is very relevent .
