hi

for me the answer is

for server (storage/ cifs/ iscsi/ nfs/ web/ database etc) use NexentaCore3
it is well maintained, rc3, near to be final (heard of a last bug in fc),
more bugfree than osol 134 (Nexenta is build on osol 134 kernel with
backported fixes from newer builds)

my free napp-it web-gui for osol & co works on it best
http://www.napp-it.org/pop_en.html

for desktop use:
stay with opensolaris 134 until there is a better choice
maybee stormos http://www.stormos.org/ could do the
part some day. but i do not expect that oracle will focus on desktops

i hope that illumos could be the base for a desktop distribution
in the future
