After inspecting the hard disk, the module "/platform/i86pc/amd64/boot_archive"
does not exist. No command would create it, ie "pfexec bootadm update-archive
-R /", or "pfexec /boot/solaris/bin/update_grub -R /". Mounting the drive as
"pfexec zpool import -o rw -f rpool" did not help.

The reference to amd64 seems to have nothing to do with my processor, maybe
someone at SUN can think of a new acronym to end the confusion. If this is
wrong, then the upgrade deleted everything to do with the Intel 32 processor.

The next thing is - should we just wait form the next release? Maybe Sun can
send a CD to all who received the 05/08 release when they are ready.

Cheers,
Dallas.
