I have not done the re-enabling when I shut down the system, and now
the system will permanently wait on a graphic line display that toggle
between left and right.

Although I am now able to boot into the first BE (with snv 111b as the
kernel version), but all my latest stuff is in the /root partition of
the 2nd BE (running snv 126).

zfs list
NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT
rpool 28.7G 19.3G 81.5K /rpool
rpool/ROOT 24.4G 19.3G 19K legacy
rpool/ROOT/opensolaris 75.1M 19.3G 20.2G /
rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1 24.4G 19.3G 21.3G /
rpool/dump 1.47G 19.3G 1.47G -
rpool/export 1.28G 19.3G 21K /export
rpool/export/home 1.28G 19.3G 21K /export/home
rpool/export/home/xxxx 1.28G 19.3G 1.28G /export/home/xxxx
rpool/swap 1.47G 19.7G 1.06G -

So questions are:

a. How to go into the rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1 BE to reenable the
gdm, without booting into it to do the work?

b. How to mount the rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-1 partition, when
currently I am mounted in the rpool/ROOT/opensolaris partition? Must
I switch it to legacy mode? And after that copying over the files,
can I remove the legacy mode so that I can boot into it again as the
2nd BE?

Sorry for so many questions asked, I am a totally newbie.....thanks.
