The problem is that the 6x6x6 color cube of the Web216 palette doesn't have
such a "dark white". The next colors are already too dark. And when we use
something between #cccccc and #ffffff we get a shift on 256-color platforms
and the navbar on the left is made out of JPEG graphics where such a color
can't be substituted. Instead there it gets dithered too a different color.
That's why I've choosen 100% white: It's a clean and fresh color and doesn't
have such substitution/dither problems.

A good suggestion, great. I'll try to create such a form and CGI script when I
find time. Currently I'm still hacking on integrating the CVSweb program into
the website to allow people to browse the CVS tree.
