Such a statement should always be associated with a *link* to the
relevant bug, in this case in gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla.

Given that the 4.9.2 changelog doesn't mention it, and I can't see
anything obviously relevant in
https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=RESOLVED&list_id=110629&resolution=FIXED&target_milestone=4.9.2
 it's possible that this is *accidentally* fixed rather than deliberately so, 
and that there isn't a test case in place for it. And thus that it might recur.

It's worth filing a new GCC bug even if there's a possibility that it
might turn out to be a duplicate.
