You can use 3K3DES and have the same results (with lower performance) if
you set K1 = K3. Therefore, if you select your 24 byte key to be
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, the outcome should be
the same as using X/Y with 2KDES.
