I agree it might be interesting, but why is it better than having a
dedicated cross-project meeting channel?  If your idea is successful,
then periodically the -dev channel will be unavailable for general
(cross-project!) developer communication.  Why not make a cross-project
meeting channel?  It's not hard to make new meeting channels and its not
hard to join them.  Is the idea to try to re-invigorate the -dev channel
by holding meetings there?
