I admit, though I know that GUIs are for whimps, that I like GUIs to browse 
through the masses of available packages ;))))).

However, I cannot help but observe that stuff like this seems only to happen 
with graphical _python_ stuff. It is the same with e.g. wammu, and especially 
smart keeps breaking because of ridiculous stuff all the time :(.

Well, I hope that with the KDE updater applet and new libzypp I don't have to 
care about alternative package management any longer!
