Hi Michael, Welcome aboard! And what a delight to have a representative from Attachmate on the team.
Your combination of technical ability and marketing expertise will definitely be a great asset. Have you worked with any open source projects in the past? I'm currently involved in the Art and Marketing teams. I'm keen to help work on a cohesive aesthetic for our next release, so that we keep nice consistent branding with a look (and plenty of materials!) that reflect our brand. We had some help for SCALE from Karl Cheney from the Novell office - I'm not sure if he was interested in becoming more involved (perhaps you could give him a nudge?) This is a great time to get involved, as I'm sure there will be a lot of strategizing once 11.4 is off and sailing under her own steam.
