speaking about this particular article, I would say that it's here from the beginning of the wiki and nobody complain about it, that it's quite interesting as of his content, but bdly written for a wiki (many "I" think", "I'm not sure", not enough titles) and so should be rewritten
as of the example, I don't know if it can hurt, but in case like this where it's just a syntax example (the byte size is not significant) it's of good practice to break the line with some ponctuation to make it unusable "as is". For example add (...) in the middle of the byte numer, to prevent a simple copy/paste
