Yes, I do :-)
I have the same problem like you. There seams to be a sane bug, that it
doesn't work with usb printers. So if you want to scan you can simply (as a
workaround, would be great if suse could fix it!) do
# rmmod usblp (as root)
then you should be able to scan (but not to print anymore :-))

That's bad to hear, that it is a common problem, but nice to hear, i'm
not the only one having it.
Hopefully it gets fixed, because rebooting my box to 9.3 only for
scanning is not really the thing i want to do ;)
