No,not really. I think the easiest way is to rebuild the dvd , set the boot loader without the gfxboot option and also pass console=tty0,115200 to the kernel. But I have no idea how to do this.
Not really sure if i can copy all the contents of the dvd to a folder and then use isolinux to rebuild it.
