No one is going to make it unpleasant... you can be sure of that. It'll be easier and more pleasant for everything. If you look at the CVS, I think you'll agree. Today I'm going to put in an Interceptor that reads a components.xml file, which contains a list of "components", and pulls three things from the file:
the enabler interface (think SevletRequestAware), the class itself (ServletRequest), and an optional scope. This is great, because you can do something like: ShoppingCartAware, which sets a ShoppingCart object, which is saved in session scope. So basically your action just works with the ShoppingCart and it's scope is automatically handled by the Interceptor. (Disclaimer, this idea is not mine in any way at all -- I've borrowed it from a very smart guy who will remain nameless at this point) =) -Pat > I strongly suspect that swing/non web usage makes up 1% or less of all > the users.
