If I'm in a Honda dealership and I ask the salesperson
if their Accord has side airbags and this nimwit
Toyota salesman jumps in to tell me that the Camry has
side airbags, YES I would consider it unethical and
immoral.

If I wanted to hear about Toyota, I'd goto their
dealership.

You're an even easier read. You obviously lose sleep
at night over the fact that other open source
frameworks have gained wider acceptance then your
Freemarker. This fact causes you so much distress that
you make it your mission to visit mailing lists
preaching the greatness of your product (unsolicited
mind you). Whether or not Velocity is where it is
today because of the Apache branding, is irrelevant.
It's more popular then Freemarker and it kills you
doesn't it? In this day and age, it's obvious that the
best doesn't always win. Please take a look at the
operating system wars, the browser wars. It's reality,
grow up and learn to live with it.

>I'm going to unsubscribe from this list now.

Please go forth, your mission here is complete. You've
interrupted the normal flow of this list to bring
attention to your product. What list will you be
spamming next? Inform us so I can follow your childish
tirades.

BTW, your nature seems to require that you get some
sort of last word in so I really doubt you've
unsubscribed. At least not until this thread subsides.

Wayland Chan
