Name makes sense in my case since I am utilizing the name attribute to
identify if i.e. a textfield with that name has an error. The label attribute doesn't do anything (check label.vm). It is the value
attribute that really generates a label with the string from that attribute.
Unless I am having some weirdo CVS checkout........... ;)

for the label tag you need to provide a label and name attributes, label is displayed on the left side while name (shouldnt it be value? using name doesnt make sense..) is displayed on the right side

Please check the taglib.tld thoroughly, it simply doesn't match the tag classes.
One tag that I bumped into today was ww:label which requires the attribute label, but it ain't used for anything. To really get a value you need to
use
the value attribute.
I know this is a very boring job to search through the taglib.tld but I am quite sure the community will welcome a bug-free and hopefully inconsistency-free tag library.
