Hi folks,

I just tried out openthinclient after spending several days working on
getting Thinstation configured for our thinclient hardware platform. I
must must say "Well done! ... Muy bien hecho!" and thank you very much.

I was ultimately successful with Thinstation, but while I respect that
project very much, I must say I spent a tiny fraction of the time getting
to a similar point with openthinclient. Now I'm off to test the
'localboot' package...

Now my question (thanks for your patience):

We have chosen to use fairly modern fanless thinclient hardware with a
1GHz C7 CPU and 1GB RAM. They work great with the Openchrome driver and
openthinclient...but they generate quite a bit of heat, at least by my
standards.

Would it be a good idea to implement CPU frequency scaling? (VIA
PowerSaver, I think)

Assuming that is a good idea, what would it take to implement it in
openthinclient? Can you point me in the right direction please?

Thanks again,

G
