No, I _need_ openchrome in order to support the newer, larger, widescreen
monitors (1680x1050)

Better resolution/monitor support.

Also, I found the included xvidtune utility _very_ helpful in determining
the proper modeline for our monitors.  Thanks!  Thinstation didn't have it...

In our most common cases, most all apps are run remotely in Remote Desktop
sessions, so the local performance isn't the main issue.  That's one of
the reasons why we are interested in de-tuning the hardware.  Curiously,
the BIOS(es) for these VIA platforms don't seem to support under-clocking
the CPU either.

I would also like to know how to enable a password-enabled screen
saver/blanker that will also allow the monitor to turn itself off.  I
haven't begun researching that yet...
