The scanner is running.
root@siggi-work:~/src# ps -ef |grep openvas
root 28909 1 0 13:46 ? 00:00:00 openvassd: waiting for
incoming connections

When I do this it completes instantly and the script gives me the same
error. Think i have a gigabit connection (at least 100 megs). Machine
has 4GB of Ram, SATA2 disk and a recent CPU.

openvasmd --port 9391 --sport 127.0.0.1 --rebuild

Should the command be different than this?
