Hello,

I'm trying to install openvas4 from source code on a gentoo with linux
kernel 3.0. I have managed to compile the libraries, scanner, manager,
administrator, GSA and CLI (My idea is to use either CLI or the web
interface, so I don't need GSD) without problem once removed the deprecated
warnings.
I've created the certificates asked on Step 1 of the openvas-check-setup
and, when it starts step 2, I keep getting these:

ERROR: No OpenVAS Manager database found. (Tried:
/usr/local/lib/var/lib/openvas/mgr/tasks.db)
FIX: Run 'openvasmd --rebuild' while OpenVAS Scanner is running.

First I run openvasmd --rebuild but, after it didn't work. I also run
'touch /usr/local/lib/var/lib/openvas/mgr/tasks.bd' and, again, openvasmd
--rebuild. It did not work either. Do any of you have any idea that could
help me?

Thanks in advance,
Paula
