Thank you all for your advices. I did what Jan-Oliver suggested, trying to
work with OpenVAS5 (it was impossible to even start openvassd4). For that,
I deleted all the files that appeared on the different install_manifest.txt
that were generated after each make install.

Now, when I try to run openvassd i get the following:

# openvassd
openvassd: error while loading shared libraries: libopenvas_misc.so.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

If ir run locate I get this:

# locate libopenvas_misc.so
/usr/local/lib/libopenvas_misc.so
/usr/local/lib/libopenvas_misc.so.4
/usr/local/lib/libopenvas_misc.so.4.0.7

But if I list the content of /usr/local/lib I get this:

# ls /usr/local/lib/
etc libopenvas_misc.a libopenvas_omp.so
libopenvas_base.a libopenvas_misc.so libopenvas_omp.so.5
libopenvas_base.so libopenvas_misc.so.5 libopenvas_omp.so.5.0.4
libopenvas_base.so.5 libopenvas_misc.so.5.0.4 pkgconfig
libopenvas_base.so.5.0.4 libopenvas_nasl.a sbin
libopenvas_hg.a libopenvas_nasl.so share
libopenvas_hg.so libopenvas_nasl.so.5 var
libopenvas_hg.so.5 libopenvas_nasl.so.5.0.4
libopenvas_hg.so.5.0.4 libopenvas_omp.a

So I think that I did something wrong cleaning the previous libraries
install. Any hint any of you can give me?

Thank you very much,
Paula
