I don't fully understand how the keywords work though. Say I have 2 checks, on check one I want person A to get an email on warning, A+B on critical. Check 2: A+B email on warning, A+B+C on critical. I have played around with keywords and servicegroups but I can't figure out how to do it, so how exactly would I have to accomplish this?
Is there some kind of manual I can use, because I'm pretty clueless :) From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ton Voon Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2010 4:06 PM To: Opsview Users Subject: Re: [opsview-users] Opsview contactgroups On 16 Mar 2010, at 07:47, Ilse Dupont wrote: I was wondering if there is an option in Opsview to use contactgroups. The idea is to use certain contactgroups for a specific service check. In case of a warning on a full HD only the sysadmin receives an email, but when the UPS goes down the sysadmin + the entire IT-staff gets notified. Use the host groups / service groups intesection for a "broad collections" of services. See http://docs.opsview.org/doku.php?id=opsview-community:access Use keywords for a more granular way of selecting services for notification or access. Ton
