Hi,

I'm currently evaluating OpsView, the idea would be to migrate from a currently
working Nagios installation...

In my Nagios configuration, i use ServiceEscalation with first_notification
*and* last_nostification... in OpsView, i've searched a lot, i've found the
first_notification settings via the notification profile (Receive from Alert)
but not the last_notification...

Maybe i've not found the right option, or i should use another method with
OpsView ? I will explain my purpose, how it's currently working with my nagios
settings :

I need an escalation on the notifications, when a service is down :

After 5 minutes, sending a notification by EMail, and repeating every 10
minutes (via Re-notification interval, first_notification 1, last 0)
After 15 minutes, sending a notification by SMS to level 1 contact, but only 1
SMS (first_notification 2, last 2)
After 35 minutes, sending a notification by SMS to level 2 contact, but only 1
SMS (first_notification 4, last 4)
...

The first 5 minutes is the time needed from Soft to Hard state.

As you see, the main purpose of last_notification is to limit how many sms are
sent, i only want to send 1 sms / contact, i do not want to repeat the SMS
after every re-notification interval. Our phones have their own reminder
settings and keep ringing until you read the SMS, it's useless to send multiple
SMS to the same phone, sending an SMS is not free and can be annoying if the
person is not currently able to handle the problem (they do not have any
reachable computer,...).

Is there any solution with Opsview to achieve this goal ? Thanks for any tips
you could give me...
