Thank you for your reply,
I am right that making exceptions for every service check is a lot of work?
E.g when monitoring a second server, you have to redirect nrpe requests via
different port, i.e. setup port forwarding for nrpe on different port for the
second server
But what if you want to monitor via various snmp queries? Do I have to add a
duplicate item for every snmp monitor and change the port or can I change the
port globally?

Thanks and regards,
