Hello,
Currently I am working with the Opsview vmware appliance, or 2 actually, one will be set up as slave.
I have followed the procedure in
http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview3.0:slavesetup

The latest documentation is at http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview-community:slavesetup .

The opsview3.0 one you are reading is specific to Opsview 3 - we only update in the opsview-community namespace moving forward.

However, when restarting opsview, I get this error:
Error: Host key verification failed.
lost connection
Host key verification failed.
Failed to generate configuration - see /admin/reload for errors
Does anyone have an idea what can be wrong? Via google I don't find a solution that can help.

I've added a check at step 4 to test that you can ssh from the master to the slave: http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview-community:slavesetup#pre-install_tasks

My guess is that the host key hasn't been accepted from master to slave and so it fails from the Opsview UI.
