Hi,
I would like to get the sources for the opsview-reports module, the
one that is released under GPL, as the README says.
Where I can get those sources?
Hi Emilio,
I'll send you the tarball from our SVN repository directly in an email.
Is there any tutorial to create custom reports based on it?
No. We found that the reports we were creating were taking far too
much development time. These reports are based on java, with apache
FOP to produce the PDF outputs, but there was a lot of bespoke code
that was required to get it to work.
Our future is in the Opsview Enterprise reporting module:

This is because it is based on Jasper, which is a proven piece of
reporting software. It also includes the jasper server component which
is a nice front end to the report configuration and scheduling.
There's also a graphical report creator which we used to write new
reports. Documentation site for the reporting module is here: http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=reporting
So we are not developing the built-in PDF reports any further.
