Very strange: I try adding two new hosts to our Opsview, reload, and
they're not there.

Well, sort of: they're there in Nagios. I can go into the scheduling
queue and see them, click on the hostname and get the standard Nagios
host and service status pages for them. Howewver, they don't appear
in the Hostgroup Hierarchy, Host Detail, Service Detail, etc.

One clue is that when trying to (for example) reschedule a check from
the Nagios CGI's, I get the following exception:

Opsview error: Caught exception in
Opsview::Web::Controller::WrapCGI->cmd "Can't call method
"host_object_id" on an undefined value at
/usr/local/opsview-web/script/../lib/Opsview/Web/Controller/WrapCGI.pm
line 64."

The specific URL being accessed was:

http://myhost/cgi-bin/cmd.cgi?cmd_typ=7&host=newhostname&service=Connectivity+-+Ping&force_check

This URL, on the other hand, works fine:

http://myhost/cgi-bin/extinfo.cgi?type=2&host=newhostname&service=Connectivity+-+Ping

TIA,
B*
