What are the things that we should be monitoring in ROLLBACK or TEMP tablespace? So far I don't have any script to monitor ROLLBACK or TEMP (havn't had any problem though). I too thought Oracle would take care of rollback and temp ts space management. Right or wrong?

We will get outsourced soon anyway);) BTW, the VSDBA supports 8.1.7.4 databases. - Kirti --- "Goulet, Dick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > That's OK, I know a couple who never heard of optimal and/or "organization index" either. > > Dick Goulet > Senior Oracle DBA > Oracle Certified 8i DBA > > -----Original Message----- > Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2003 7:14 PM > To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L > > > I saw a "Sr. DBA" few years ago, who claimed he had worked with Oracle since > V4.0, and he didn't have a clue what PCTINCREASE is... > > Tanel. > ----- Original Message ----- > To: "Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2003 11:51 PM > > > > What about ones that you don't know? > > > > Mladen Gogala > > Oracle DBA > > Phone:(203) 459-6855 > > Email:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2003 4:11 PM > > To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L > > > > > > PCTINCREASE is a bad good thing.
