Hi all,
in some languages there are two version of "you": a polite and an informal one (as in Hungarian or in French). Now since the user is talked to in some messages I think this should be addressed somehow: the current Hungarian localization is a polite one which is fine for a wide variety of sites but awkward for many and I guess this should be a problem for the other languages too.
I'd like to see something like the ability to add another version of a string in the localization tool: like there could be a selector if the string is for the polite or the informal version or both. Vast majority would be for both anyways, but then the user could choose when downloading the package to opt with the polite or the informal one.
AFAIK Wordpress also has a distinction of localization packages. Zoltán
