Jeff, While updating automake/autoconf/libtool allows us to build the dist tarball, and I'm perfectly happy with that solution, I get this when trying to use it:

Generating AC_CONFIG_FILES list... aclocal autoconf Can't locate object method "path" via package "Autom4te::Request" at /usr/bin/autom4te line 81. It seems that the execution of "" has failed. I am gonna abort. :-( This may be caused by an older version of one of the required packages.
