I used to have SL3 on these machines without any network
problems...maybe that doesn't mean anything though.
Well, the problem we're having is getting OSCAR to handle this. More
specifically, SystemInstaller needs to build the image correctly,
SystemImager needs to get the bits onto the node via PXE, and finally
SystemConfigurator needs to properly configure the system.
We struggled a bit with SystemInstaller, but that appears to be OK.

We now seem to be past the SystemImager part if the nodes "got built".
But, if there are network problems, that would appear to be
SystemConfigurator.
Could you do a
netstat -rn
and also
cat /etc/resolv.conf
cat /etc/sysconfig/network
cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth*
Have faith. When we're done, Scientific Linux can be supported by OSCAR
thanks to you and you can build nodes with a reboot...
