Let's remove support for Fedora Core 2 while we're at it.
 
I have local modifications for fixing the prereqs, so why don't you let me take care of that (for now).
 
BTW Fernando, I noticed that there are no RPMs in share/prereqs/perl-XML-Simple/distro/mdk - does that mean I can delete that directory?  Are they provided by the distribution media?

That actually simplifies things and is easy to implement. I'll implement it
soon.
