Right. However this is the prereqs file, it just means that the RPMs
listed there need to be installed (if not already). So you didn't
need to modify it.

I saved all my work of building the fc-6-x86_64 rpms on a cdrom. I managed
to build the sis and switcher ones.
I do not know hot to get them to you. They are a total of 14MB rpms. Do you
know away. Is there somehow i could upload them to you?

Does anybody have a FTP server which Allan can dump his RPMs so that I
can check them into SVN trunk?

I reinstalled FC6 x86_64 on my machine after saving important files and
started building oscar 5.1 from the feb 9 2007 build
and had to install perl-HTML-Tree through yum and install all the system

perl-HTML-Tree is also provided by OSCAR, you should run the
'build_oscar_rpms' script against "prereqs" in share/prereqs also.

imager files manually from the common-rpms dir of /tftpboot/oscar
from the feb 9 nightly common-rpms-repo. Then I got the Oscar GUI coming up
and followed the steps till install client image.
It installs the srver image fine. But it does not install systemimager or
the client boot x86_64 boot kernel and initrd.img

There is actually a bug with SystemImager 3.7.6, that's why the i386
boot-standard and initrd_template files are built from SystemImager's
SVN trunk.

Anyways, you can try to use these r3912 RPMs which Andrea built:

http://download.systemimager.org/~arighi/systemimager/

Bernard

Hi Bernard,
With very little effort on a new installation of FC6 x86-64 with my built rpms I was able to get up the Oscar GUI and install both the server and client image. I also had to install systemimager 3.7.6.1 ( make, make binaries, make install_binaries) by hand. For the P5B-VM DO motherboard I have to choose scsi disk for the raid array odf sata-2 drives so i am creating another client image presently for those machines. Something that I had not thought of before as it defaults to ide.disk file. May be that is the problem for those boards since the chipset is new(Intel 965)
So all I have to to is now upload those rpms(x86_64) to you somehow!
Thank you,
Cheers,
Allan
