Can you show the output of `file /bin/bash`?  This is used to
determine the arch of the distribution.

Yes, I saw something in the release notes regarding some issues with mkinitrd...

BTW, I created a VMWare image of Fedora Core 7 Test 2, so I can start
to do some preliminary porting, but it is still quite rough around the
edges (eg. the /etc/sysconfig/network file was corrupted when first
booted...)
