I would not recommend you to patch SystemImager yourself -- it can be
somewhat involved.

You rebuilt Fedora 7's kernel so that it supports your network
hardware, correct?  So, you should be able to use UYOK with an
unpatched version of SystemImager and it should be able to generate
working kernel/ramdisk to boot up your client -- have you tried that?
As long the server you are running si_prepareclient from has the
correct marvell network module, the script should pull it and put it
in the ramdisk.

You mentioned numerous times regarding "initrd.img not found" but can
you please post the exact error message?  It is hard to troubleshoot
without the exact errors.

Did you check if the 2.6.22 kernel has the drivers for your network
card?  If so I will see about updating the SystemImager kernel to
2.6.22 but perhaps Andrea will beat me to it :-)
