Hi Folks!
I am installing Oscar-1.3b1 on a small cluster consisting of a master PIII
600MHz computer and two dual-AMD clients. I choose the new beta version of
Oscar because my previous attempts to install v.1.2.1rh72 have failed to
install image from network. Everything was fine with the installation of
oscar-1.3b1: I did not have any problem when booting from network. My only
difficult is with the creation of a PBS queue. When performing the
post-install routine, I got the following message:
Restarting pbs server...
Shutting down PBS Server: [ OK ]
Starting PBS Server: [ OK ]
Creating pbs queue...
qmgr obj=workq svr=default: Unauthorized Request
Max open servers: 4
create queue workq
Configuration of PBS queues failed at
/root/oscar-1.3b1/packages/pbs/scripts/post_install line 104
and, at the end,
Some of the post install scripts failed, please check your logs for more info
at ./post_install line 44
Synchronization of Time Successfully Completed!
at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/Tk.pm line 217
Oscar Wizard failed to run successfully at ./install_cluster line 50
The install.pdf manual for oscar-1.3b1 suggest, in case of PBS is not
working, to issue the following comands:
service pbs_server start
service maui start
cd /root/oscar-1.3b1/pbs/config
/usr/local/pbs/bin/qmgr < pbs_server.conf
However, I do not fount the PBS config file anywhere in the oscar-1.3b1.
Could you please help me to fix this problem?
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards,
Claudio.
