Glad you found the problem. For installation, SIS doesn't care which
adapter it uses. Since both broadcast DHCP requests, it just installs
over the one that gets an answer. The problem you hit comes around in
the post install configuration that SIS does. At that time it needs to
assign logical device names so it picks the first (bus wise) adapter as
eth0. Unfortunately you had cabled up to eth1.
