In theory, this can't happen, but there's nothing so practical as a good
theory, is there?

At any rate, the problem occurred when an OSCAR-provided Fedora-specific
patch was applied to a file from the systeminstaller-x11 rpm.  What's
confusing here is that your log shows this rpm was, in fact, installed
by OSCAR -- so, the patch should match the target.

I would not be surprised to see an error such as this if you had a
different version of the systeminstaller-x11 rpm, but that doesn't
appear to be the case.

Would you post the .rej file?
