What you would have to do is make a "golden image" of the node machine
and skip (or not use) the image created by oscar for the nodes.  If
you check out the SystemImager (or perhaps systeminstaller)
documentation this is more or less the assumed mode of use for the
software so it is covered in detail.

I would suggest going through to the "Install Server Packages" step
and turn off the "pfilter" service (assuming you are not connected to
or are otherwise firewalled from the outside world).  Those two steps
should make dealing with systemimager a bit easier I think.
