Precisely we have to take the heavy cue from our ex ex PM Tun Mahathir that rightly realised the branding gap and took big steps towards it. Today we do not need to spend millions to brand F1 which is not ours anyway but we can brand our own projects. Jimmy Choo and Michelle Yeoh or Vijay Singh (not rakyat but in law to rakyat). If we put up billboards featuring their faces and my goat and say "Made In Malaysia - Yes, Malaysia Can" it will attract more investment due to the motivation, drive, spirit, semangat berkobar-kobar and it wont take even 0.0001% of any Rancangan Malaysia. Sadly the Pau Lady poster does not jinggle any pocket well.

I have seen so much ideas given out here by our young turks and i pity that ALL if not most of them will end up leaving open source when they dry out as they get employed by proprietary companies that harvest their juices. Hopefully RMK10 brings change. If not hopefully the next General Elections. If not, keep bitching i mean pitching. :)
