Hmm, well, what do OSG users do when they want a Manipulator that stops moving the scene when you stop moving the mouse? Do they make a custom Manipulator? Am I missing something obvious? OSG is extremely unique in it's default choice of mouse manipulator (at least, compared to other 3D engines), and I was personally surprised to find my scene kept moving when I stopped moving the mouse. Of course, over the last few months I've gotten used to it, but my roommates and co-workers and whatnot still find it troublesome when I'm showing them demos and OSG apps and whatnot... Anyway, OSG code is clean and easy to follow, so I was able to track down a workaround without any trouble; clearly, this is reason I love OSG so much. > > ...and perhaps other options for applying modifiers to the amount of > > transformation taking place; i.e.: > > > > myTrackManip->setTransformSensitivity() > > > > Perhaps these belong in MatrixManipulator instead, so that all of them > > could benefit? I think we need to start a Robert Relief Effort! It seems like not only are you working hard on the 2.0 release, but answering our lame questions as well. :) > Robert. > _______________________________________________ > osg-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users > http://www.openscenegraph.org/ > _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
