Hi All,

One item on the TODO list that missed the cut for 2.0 was pbuffer
support.  I have now implemented pbuffer support under X11 and checked
it in.  What you'll find is two new files in osgViewer:

 include/osgViewer/api/X11/PixelBufferX11

and

 src/osgViewer/PixelBufferX11.cpp

Unfortunately I don't have a Windows dev machine, nor a Mac (Martin's
is away right now) so I  will need kindly Windows and Mac experts to
help out.  To assist in this direction I'll create the files that will
need to blanks filling in.

In general pbuffers should be quite straight forward as they don't
need any event handling, resize support etc, just create the graphics
context and the pbuffer to associate it with and your done.  The
PixelBufferX11 should be a reasonable guide.
