Developers - Please review the above exchanges, notably the cogent contributions by Marc and Poutnik. It really does seem that there is a strong case for this small but useful modification (improvement) of the Car-mode routing. Please let us know whether (or not) you agree, and what would be the likely timescale for corrective update. Thank you Paul W
