All, Does the OSSEC project have a roadmap posted online which maps planned features/enhancements to general timeframes? If not, I think it would be beneficial to the community if such a document was created/made available (with the obvious disclaimers of course, given this is an open source project).
My 2 cents, Chris Note: I've consulted the following sources but was unable to find anything related to a roadmap: UserVoice (http://ossec.uservoice.com) - "planned" tasks, but no timelines and many have not been "binned" dcid's BitBucket (https://bitbucket.org/dcid) - the list of Issues does not include any planned enhancements (duh!) IRC channel monitoring (occasionally) Google Groups (dev and list) monitoring etc.
